Makarska in Croatia there are several churches, and the one shown in this post is found in the Main Square.
The tower of St. Mark's church can be seen from the harbour and it is found next to the fruit market in the town.
To the right on the picture above you see a statue in front of the church. This is one of the main attractions in Makarska. The statue of the friar Andrija Kačić Miošić is made by the famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Rendić. The church - also referred to as a cathedral - was built in the 17th century.
